Privacy Policy
Pocket Mirror (“the App”) is provided by AppLife (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how the App accesses and handles information.
Camera
The App requests Camera access to display a live front-camera mirror. Camera images are processed on your device for mirror, zoom, flip and freeze-frame features. We do not upload camera images or video to our servers. Frozen frames are temporary and are discarded when replaced, closed or when the App terminates.
Local settings
Language, color theme, mirror direction, zoom and light preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not used to identify you and are not transmitted to AppLife.
Advertising
The release version of the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Depending on your region, settings, consent choices and our configuration, Google and its partners may process IP address, device and app information, advertising identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from information such as an IP address.
This information may be used to deliver, measure, secure and improve advertising. Where required, the App will request consent or provide applicable privacy choices before personalized ads are used. Non-personalized ads may still use contextual and limited device information for delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping and measurement.
Data sharing and retention
AppLife does not sell your personal information. Advertising information may be processed by Google and its partners as described above. AppLife does not operate a server that stores camera images, local preferences or user accounts for the App. Advertising data is retained under the policies and configuration of Google and its partners.
Your choices
You can revoke Camera permission in Android Settings, manage or reset your Android Advertising ID where supported, use Google My Ad Center, use consent controls shown by the App, or delete local settings by clearing App storage or uninstalling it. The mirror cannot function without Camera permission.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to the App, including local camera processing. Google and its partners may process advertising information outside your country under their policies and applicable legal safeguards. No electronic processing or transmission method is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy when the App, advertising configuration, legal requirements or data practices change. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
